Atlas means “a book made of pictures prepared to explain a subject”. I also add the pictures in Merve’s atlas to this book by experiencing all sorts of adventures and getting excited each time as if they are on the road for the first time, gradually creating my own atlas.
I still have a long way to go in this big world. “A person learns only from what she loves.” said Goethe. The interesting cultures I encountered on the roads, in the countries I traveled to, languages unlike those in our geography, brand new tastes and traditions are teaching me a lot.
Traveling teaches one to grow one’s own crops without judging the “weeds” in different countries and cultures, and the surprises encountered on the roads are heart-warming. This must be what they call living!
